DSL ModemsDSL lines require filters to isolate the DSL signal from telephones, fax
machines and security systems. We offer in-line filters for $5 each. Wall mount and
external filters are also available.
Other ADSL modems may be suitable for use with our service. They must be compatible with Alcatel DMT ADSL central office equipment. They must support RFC1483 bridging and be configurable to a VPI of 8 and VCI of 35. We will continue to evaluate new modems for ease of installation, functionality and cost. |

(with an SMI account) - An external modem that
provides an Ethernet bridge connection to the DSL network. It supports any computer that
has an Ethernet port and TCP/IP. Multiple computers may be connected to the bridge,
dependent on the service plan for the customer. The typical application is for a small
home or small office network, or to support non-Windows computers.
