DSL with a Difference!

We use RFC1483 bridging and Route-Bridged Encapsulation for our DSL connections to provide our clients with the highest possible speeds. Users have the benefit of a static IP address1 with direct access2 to the Internet. Our DSL service is direct, dedicated connection between the customer and SMI. SMI can control the priority of the traffic for each connection within the network based on the service plan selected.

1 The static IP is provided for the purpose of facilitating a high performance connection to the Internet. It is not provided to enable use inconsistent with a single user, non- commercial application.
2
The outgoing SMTP port 25 is available only to authorized users.
